Held at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency's grand ballroom, from 8 to 10 a.m. Emceed by James MacGregor, publisher of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. Speakers included:Richard Weiss, chief investment officer for City National Bank; Bill Hvidt, managing director for Grubb & Ellis; Chuck Reed, mayor of San Jose; Bob Wasserman, mayor of Fremont; Patricia Mahan, mayor of Santa Clara.

Sighted in San Jose: OUT of SERVICE

I took this earlier in the year, when the weather was better. On Paseo de San Antonio Walk (by the Fairmont Hotel), near Cesar Chavez Park, downtown San Jose. The officer was on break nearby, eating lunch.
