Fremont Aqua Adventure Water Park

The east bay will soon have a new destination for family water pool fun. Fremont's Aqua Adventure Water park will be opening Memorial Day weekend 2009. I got a chance to go in early and see the park before it opens up to the public. They even turned on the waterworks for me. Thanks Lance!

Looks like lots of fun for the kiddies. There's a tot's play area (Li'l Squirts); a lazy river (Roundabout River) surrounding a jungle gym (Bucket Bay). For the older kids and adults, the 4 story tall Fortress of Fun should do the trick. You can take swim lessons in the Oasis pool or schedule a birthday party using one of the covered birthday huts.

If you're interested in getting a season pass, they're on sale now. Just call 510-494-4331 or visit http://goaquaadventure.com/season.php

The park is located at the south end of Lake Elizabeth. 40500 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont, CA, 94538

Big thanks to everyone who came to donate toys at City Beach

On Sunday, Dec 7, 2008, The Fremont Chamber of Commerce hosted a toy drive at City Beach Fremont. A big thanks to all the people who showed up to donate toys! Oakland Athletics outfielders Travis Buck and Ryan Sweeney were there to sign autographs. They were both super nice to everybody. I even got an A's to Fremont button signed!
