Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream Foundation Playpark groundbreaking ceremony
Olympic gold medalist, Dancing With the Stars champion and Fremont native Kristi Yamaguchi conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for a new park for kids.
Located in Central Park in Fremont, the Always Dream PlayPark will be an extraordinary and innovative place designed to provide creative and active play opportunities for children of all abilities.
Created in 1996, the Always Dream Foundation is the lasting expression of Kristi Yamaguchi's desire to create an organization whose sole purpose would be to inspire and embrace the hopes and dreams of children. The motto "Always Dream" has served as her personal inspiration for many years. It serves as a constant reminder to dream big, never lose sight of your goals, and always strive to become a better person. The Always Dream Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit public entity.
