Active Rain - Slideshow: Posterous is the new Twitter

"Posterous is a blogging game changer. It elegantly automates the function of reposting so that anybody can build a decent looking "blog" without writing one. It also automates syndication across the social media landscape so it gets instant recognition from your networks as well as from Google. Here's the slideshow"

Pictures of the Flight 93 Memorial in Union City

Union City Flight 93 Memorial
Flight 93 was the only hijacked plane on September 11 that failed to hit its intended target. United Airlines flight 93 bound for San Francisco has special significance for those of us in the Bay Area where many of the heroes lived, worked or were traveling to that day.

Union City's Flight 93 Memorial is on Smith and Dyer Street.

On September 3rd, several riders departed Newark NJ, en route to a September 11th arrival in San Francisco. Their goal? To complete the journey of Flight 93 and raise funds for the national memorial in Pennsylvania. Track their progress in real time and learn more at www.ridewiththe40.org.

Flight 93 National Memorial is at the crash site in PA
More info on the Flight 93 National Memorial in Pennsylvania can be found at http://www.nps.gov/flni/index.htm

The Flight 93 National Memorial is located in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, in southwestern Pennsylvania

The third image is a map of the route which the riders will take on Sept 11.

Soyuz Descent Module at the Chabot Space and Science Center, Oakland

Russian Soyuz capsules have been in use since the 1960s. The Soyuz brought cosmonauts to Mir in the 1980s and then to the ISS (International Space Station) beginning in 2000. At least one Soyuz is always docked at the ISS as a return vehicle and emergency lifeboat for the crew. The capsules have been upgraded over the years. The latest version, called the Soyuz TMA, accommodates a greater range of crewmember heights, and has improved landing systems, digital electronic controls, and displays.
